The King's Cake

Our shared big book last week was the King's Cake written by Jill Eggleton and illustrated by Jim Storey. We really enjoyed the story, and decided to make our own cake on Friday. It did not have forty six candles on it!!
Everyone was eagerly looking at the ingredients before we started measuring.

Guess who had a sneaky lick of the bowl?



















We were about to taste the chocolate cake.
